Message From The Owner

My name is Michael C. Kusler and I am the proud owner of Kusler Yachts, Inc. After years of encouragement from satisfied clients I decided to start my own company. My objective is to give you what you want and when you want it.

Working for many years in the boating industry, I was surprised to see the lack of customer service after the actual sale. Most owners purchase a boat and then realize how much more they need to enhance their boat and/or their lifestyle. I began working with these owners to help save them time and money.

With 20+ years of on-the-water experience, I get the job done in an efficient and professional manner. My boating background began as a child, fishing the eastern seaboard from points North off of Cape Cod to the Florida Keys. Formative years include working in a tackle and boating dealership for one the country's most renowned giant bluefin tuna fisherman.

While attending a Merchant Marine Academy and obtaining my captains license, I worked summers as an assistant Harbormaster performing search and rescue and river patrol on the Merrimack River in Newburyport, MA. Since graduating from the Academy, I worked in engineering and consulting for approximately 9 years. Realizing my true passion is boating, I decided to work as a yacht broker in San Diego, which turned out to be a perfect fit with my background and career goals.

My enthusiasm working with production and custom sportfishers and yachts like Cabo Yachts, Hatteras, Ocean Yachts, Viking and Grand Banks throughout the country has been noticed.

In closing, I am a straight shooter with a no nonsense approach to getting the job done in a timely and cost effective manner. Whether it's listing and selling your sportfisher or yacht, outfitting your new toy, or on the water training, I can help. I believe in building strong standing relationships that last a lifetime.
