2016 Regulator 34SS: Equipped to Fish, Host and Enjoy

February 5, 2021

The Sonic—a 2016 Regulator 34SS– combines high performance fishability with an innovative layout. Professionally maintained, the boat is ready to fish and designed to host.

The Sonic’s 900 horsepower come in the form of triple 300 Yamaha engines with only 75 hours. Located in Southern California, the boat is ready for whatever you can throw at it.

Accommodation:

The SS in 34SS stands for starboard seating. The lounge seating forward of the console wraps around the starboard side of the bow.

While eliminating the ability to completely walk around the console, the Regulator 34SS provides an added dimension when hosting guests. With options to install or remove the boat’s platform inset (connected to the deck via pedestal), the boat is as comfortable hosting a sunset cruise as it is casting to tuna schools.

Below deck, the 34 is full of innovation—and space for overnighting. Equipped with a mini galley, twin berth, head, and sink with pull-out shower, the console cabin compartment is a functional, usable space seldom encountered on boats of its size.

The Regulator 34SS– Fishability:

High performance fishing ability is fundamental to every Regulator built. The Sonic is no exception.

It’s triple Yamaha 300s are fully covered by warranty, and have only 75 hours a piece. The engines complement a loaded package that includes Raymarine Offshore Package, outriggers, and expanded rod holder set up around the gunnel.

This boat’s set up well suites a variety of Pacific fishing applications— from tuna fishing, deep dropping for swordfish, casting to striped marlin and yellowtail, to bump trolling live baits for roosterfish just beyond the surf in Mexico.

Maneuverability in the Regulator 34SS:

The Sonic’s a bow thruster and the Yamaha Helm Master system (through 2021) improve handling. These features make docking a simple proposition—independent of your experience docking a boat of this size.
