This vessel underwent a $2mm mechanical and cosmetic refit in Newport Beach California in 2018/19. All her systems were either rebuilt or replaced and many new upgrades were added. Notable upgrades are full majors on MTU’s new Cummins generators , new Electronics , Humphree and Seakeeper stabilization, new Bow Thruster ect. ect. Features
Vessel sleeps a total of 8 including owner, guests, and crew. There are 4 staterooms and 5 heads. TANGLER is a custom Knight & Carver built in San Diego, California. She features everything you would expect from a first class shipyard. The wood treatment is varnished teak with raised paneling and Carpathian Elm Burl inlays in countertops throughout interior. The vessel has a very traditional and masculine feel, with extremely high quality workmanship fit and finishes. The headliner has varnished teak strips and all furnishings and accessories are consistent with the nautical decor. This same theme is carried out throughout into all staterooms and adjoining heads. The full beam master is entered down a private stairwell. Down two steps entering the companion way which allows access to three staterooms.The VIP stateroom to port, the guest stateroom to starboard and crews quarters all the way forward. From the companion up five steps is the large galley, directly across to starboard is the dinette. Moving aft down one step is the main salon featuring an internal staircase to starboard which allows access to the enclosed fly bridge and bridge deck as well as tuna tower. Walking aft through double doors in main salon you arrive on the mezzanine deck highlighted with a teak table for outdoor dining. To starboard is a day head. Heading down either port or starboard stairs you arrive in the massive 18' x 9' cockpit with walk in access to Engine room and swim platform.
